TO WHOM IT May Concern and particularly to the electors of the Hermosa Sanitation District of La Plata County, Colorado
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election will be held on the 3rd day of May, 2022. At that time 3 directors will be elected to serve 3 year terms.
Eligible electors of the Hermosa Sanitation District interested in serving on the board of directors may obtain a self nomination and acceptance form by notifiing the designated election
official at info@hermosasanitation.com or 970 259-3909. The deadline to submit a self nomination form is Friday, February 25, 2022.
It's important to remind you that only toilet paper is to be flushed into the sewer system. Sewer collection systems have a hard time handling inappropriately flushed items, such as paper towels, rags, and wet wipes which can cause sewer back ups. The repair and cleaning of a sewer backup is quite costly and time consuming which in turn affects all members of the district.
What Not To Flush
Human excrement and regular toilet paper are the only thing you should flush down the toilet.
